B2D Rider Profile: Jordan "Doc" Oldham

Co-founder of the Bike2Death crew and host to this blog, Jordan Oldham originally hails from Reading, Pennsylvania.  Starting with XC riding, Jordan has been riding mtb since the age of 13.
After high school and a brief stint in college, Jordan served in the Navy until 2004 as a Navy Corpsman (hence the nickname Doc).  After his service time, he moved from Connecticut where he was last stationed to Tucson with his beautiful wife Kitty.  It was moving to AZ that would help Jordan advance his skills and become the expert level all mountain rider he is today.
Now living in AZ for 6yrs, Doc has graduated to gravity riding and has now had 3 bikes in his quiver, including an Airborne Marauder that was unfortunately stolen.  "The XC days are over for me other than commuting or cardio, but for the real ride, I gotta step up my game."  Jordan has been quoted saying.  Jordan also owns a Rocky Mountain Flatline 3 DH, and an IronHorse hardtail. In about a week, Doc plans on replacing his Airborne Marauder and add an Airborne Wingman DJ to his arsenal too.
Every day you'll see Jordan on a bike. Whether commuting to his 9-5 or hitting the urban spots of downtown Tucson, or shredding the local trails on the surrounding ranges, he's always riding.

Recently Jordan was sponsored by Hayes Bicycle Group which sells Hayes Brakes, Manitou Suspension, Answer Products, SunRinglé Rims, and Wheelsmith Spokes.  He's extremely excited to represent them this 2012 season.  Jordan also aspires to become a member of the Airborne Bicycles Flight Crew this year as well, and he can't wait to order his two new bikes and get building, racing, and promoting his sponsors.

Jordan's interests are mountain biking (duh), punk rock (and most all music), Bike2Death, blogging, building, painting and spreading the Two-wheeled word.

Fun Fact: Jordan's 4yo son is named Ian McKaye after the punk rock straight edge pioneer Ian McKaye of Minor Threat and Fugazi.
Jordan's birthday is Oct. 20.
